Longtime lurker mid- Texas coastal area, currently have a stripped down 93 FXLR frame and S&S EVO comes in about 15 pounds lighter than my little brothers stock sportster, pretty quick but not all that comfortable for road trips. Being over 65 I enjoy quick and brief second gear wheelies, but the old back makes me pay for my fun, hence interest in a dependable trike. I am extending my garage to prepare for starting on a trike for the spring. Sturgis was tough enough to recover from in 2005 (the aforementioned Harley)_ and I would like to be able to carry more "comfort camping items"for future rallies. Best wishes all, now to go look around.
