Solid axle question

Mike,
Its because the front tire's dynamic loading is different on a tike front tire VS a bike. The trike steers through turns rather than leans through turns. The 41 lbs just works better than 36 lbs on a trike and wont affect the ride quality nearly so much as rear tire pressure does. All the trike manufacturers I have talked to over the years who have extensively tested this have all recommended max air pressure in the front tire.

Hey Mike, That's good advice. 41 psi and you won't notice any difference in the ride but the tire will like it.
P.S. Use a digital guage as they are rated to be the most accurate for guages the average person would buy. Only check your tires cold of course.

Don't have a digital gauge, but I've used an AccuGage for years, and also have a nice Harley Davidson gauge. The AccuGage was recommended to me by when I had my 02 Wing by folks on the gl1800 forum. Don't know if a digital would be more accurate, but these have served me well.
