"Snow in the Smokies".....

Mitzie "twisted my arm" really early Saturday Morning to go to Pigeon Forge to the LIDL DOLLY Dress and Quilt Shop to get Her Great Niece a couple of dresses for Her Birthday on Sunday. Well, being the "utterly fantastic husband" that I am, we headed out in the White Jeep to do exactly that.

Here are some Pics from Wears Valley Road between Townsend and Pigeon Forge.....

After getting the Dresses and a "Bear Wall Hanging", we headed over to J.T.Hannah's where Mitzie had a 1/2 Rack of Ribs and I had Steak Fajitas...I highly recommend the Fajitas...!!!!!

On the way back to DOCK'S MOTEL and CABINS in Townsend, we took the Gatlinburg Bypass and Little River Road. It had begun to snow pretty hard again with the big, soft, sticky flakes coming down. Here are some Pics from Little River Road.....

Sorry I missed yall on your trip to Pigeon Forge. Yes it was a beautiful wintery snow scene this past weekend. For those of you who dont know me those pictures are from where I call home. I feel blessed to live in the most beautiful area of the country for scenery and motorcycle roads in the country. Scutter, call me the next time yall head this way and well have lunch.

Beautiful pictures. Too bad all that "white stuff" is covering up all the "green stuff" )) - said from the perspective of someone who has spent many years in Northern NY (St. Lawrence County, on the "River") and also, Wisconsin. I've already seen my share of "white stuff".

GREAT PICS.... We've stayed in several cabins on that "Quiet" side of the Mountain. Love that area.. I just stay away from Gatlinburg Strip.
