How many of U use Skype. Cathy uses it about every day to talk to her mother in Florida.. and we also use it about twice a week to talk to our daughter in New Orleans..

Wish it would have been out when I was traveling so much.. Sure would have make the traveling easier...

I even talked to Pete, (3whealar) once or twice And he is in Down under

I've used it to "talk" to my best friend when she went to Germany to visit her family. At the time I didn't have a microphone on the laptop so I had to use the messaging feature, but then I got a headset for it. It was GREAT!! I believe she uses it to communicate with her family in Germany, her son in Alaska, etc.

I live in Florida and my twin brother lives in Alaska--we use Skype ALL the time, not only so I can see/talk to him and his wife, but also so I can see my nieces and nephews. And yes, Katfish, I sure wish we had Skype when I was on active duty, especially when I was in Guam!

We use our laptops--with their built-in webcams and microphones, they make it so easy.

I love Skype. Use it with my parents in Tucson, AZ and brother and family in Portland, OR. When I was over in Germany for a couple of weeks I set up an old laptop without a camera to talk with my wife back home.
