Hello All. Just purchased the following Sirius Onyx Plus Vehicle Kit from Amazon. We would like to use this on our Trike as well as our Van and especially our motorhome. This eliminates having to purchase multi subscription service plans. Here the like to Amazon:

Has anyone used this on their Trike? If so, did you purchase the 3.5 mm aux cable jack that Harley Davidson sells to connect it to the radio such as the one in the following link:

I am going to install this on the Trike on the right handlebars and would appreciate any advice on the installation.

Thanks in advance.

Did exactly the same thing to my Electra Glide and then my trike. Got a handlebar mount off Flea-Bay and mounted to left handlebar. Bundled cables with heat shrink and routed down bars to inside fairing. Removed fairing and added lighter plug inside for power and routed aux wire out of fairing beside radio and antenna wire out of top left of fairing and mounted stick on antenna on the flat part of the top of the inner fairing. Worked like a charm for years and looked ok too. Never has a reception problem and was able to move one device to multiple vehicles.

Dave, I used the same cables and wires that came with the XM. All you need is the power wire with cig. plug. I plugged it in line to my battery. The XM Accessory plug goes into your accessory plug on your HD radio. Antenna you can put almost any where. Used a Ram Mount for radio and GPS.
