We just (last year) sold our 'go fast' ski boat and bought a 20' Tracker Pontoon. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Can't go 70mph anymore, but the grand kids love it. Seats 10 with plenty of room to dance! Can carry enough food and drink to feed the Chinese Army lunch and still seat the extended family. Some day I'll get used to going 24.6 mph

I didn't ,,,,,, always had V8s thought I wanted one ,got a 24 ft lowes it was a great pontoon plenty room but I got tired of the ducks passing me . In 07 traded it in for a 08 Tahoe 225 deck boat upgraded to 300 hp with MFI that's the best thing I've ever had on a boat . Still got a lot of room and can get there a little quicker .......So good luck with that screwball ThumbUp ThumbUp

Yup I had a money pit once... They measure GPM ( Gallons per Min. ) I think mine was 1 gal per 15 min at 28 MPH . I spent more time towing it to and from the lakes than actually on them. And after leaving it at a cottage one summer and it sunk... That was the last straw.

If your going in board out board make sure you get MFI injection it 's not a problem to start like the older chocked boats ,and does twice as good on gas . Boats are not for everyone just like a bike , plane , or any thing else that's just for entertaining ourselves but I can't imagine a summer without the lake or a boat . Our boat stays at our little lake shack for the summer I don't pull it back and forth leaving in the morning with it and that's where it will be for the summer ....ThumbUp...So good luck with your choice we love ours ....TAHOE 225

Lakes around here already +/- 10' lower than normal, and going south. No good rain expected and much of the water has been diverted downstream to alleviate the drought. Lots of boats for sale in Central Texas.

Winter we leave ours in the garage at the river house (1200 sqft garage) The community has a launch ramp and private marina. Neighbor has a 26' Cheetah Deck. Damn thing outruns my 60mph SeaDoos. He said he dropped over 70 grand for it. Hell of a boat!

Well with the monsoon rain we've been getting the trike is about the same right now.
Nice thing about the boat is it's made for water. LOL
