Saw a Road Glide 3 in person today

I was only looking.

Wow the white one reminds me of the old metermaid trikes they had in Ridgewood. Meter readers used it to check the parking meters in summer. And it used to follow the DPW truck when it was salting the road in winter.:)

Something about the RG3 trike doesn't look right, the fairing looks a bit out of place. Maybe if the fairing were placed on a Tri-glide it might look better. I am sure there are individuals who like the way it looks.

I thought this Burgundy / Black combo was really handsome. I'm also a chrome guy so I like this engine setup much better than the blackout package, which is very popular today. Also the "White" one is not really white ... "White Sand Pearl" officially. Very pretty (kinda cream colored) blackout everything and the new $500.00 + Black windshield does get your attention.

It was 85 degrees and sunny so closed up shop for a few hours and did 90 miles. On the ride I stopped at my current dealership, Atlantic County HD, and front and center by the main entrance was this:

It needs a top box to even out the looks.....Once the fairing in added it only looks like it doesn't know what it really wants to be...Definitely not a hotrod or even a sport trike...

So they might as well add the box and give it the light cruiser look and be done with it..

It does look heavy up front and generally out of balance. I'm sure Harley will sell anybody a TriGlide rear end for, oh maybe 5 or 6 grand. :)

It needs the old Harley razor pak ( regular pak is too large)
