Looking for help to install a Sirius-XM radio in my 07 Gl1800/Champion
trike. I have the power supply and antenna covered. I am trying to find out how to connect the radio to the bike audio system. I think the 3 prong white connector under the left storage box may the answer. If it is, where do I find a adaptor to connect the single radio plug into a 3 prong connector?
Thanks
Ron

There is a plug in socket under the left storage box. Honda supplied a plug in wire with the 06 wings that plugged into that white connector. You could use that wire to plug in an ipod or gps to play sound thru the bike radio by using the AUX button. That is where I plugged in my satellite radio so it would play thru the bike radio using the AUX button. Remember to match an FM radio station on the bike radio to the satellite receiver if you did not use a bike install wire kit that does not need the FM receiver.

WingKing,
Thanks for the info. The previous owner must have tossed this plug in adaptor. Maybe I can order one from Honda, if I can find it listed somewhere.
Thanks again

If you need the plug adapter to put into the OEM accessory circuit under the left pocket, you might consider getting this from the Electrical Connection.

EC - Ground Loop Isolators

It has the plug that goes into the 1/8" (3.5mm) jack but also includes a ground loop isolator to eliminate alternator noise and whine through whatever is plugged in to the aux circuit.(Just learned about this ground loop stuff) It eliminates the noise when you plug in a device to the aux plug and use the bike power to run the device. The price isn't too much more than what Mother Honda would charge for the cable alone.

Here is a cable from J & M that is much longer than OEM, and cheaper - but no whine elimination.

Don,

Thank you for getting this info together! I am a zero with electronics and appreciate your help. The isolator is the way to go rather than buying the connector wire twice if I have a noise after connecting the radio.
