Salem, Virginia Rally in the Valley.....

Will anyone be attending this event in October? We are considering going. Perhaps if someone has been before I could get a heads-up as to what to expect there.....<br />

</div>We probably won't get up there until Friday as my better half has to work Thursday evening until 10:30pm. Would leave out early in the morning and, probably, be there around noon.....

That would work out I think. I know where Palmyra is. My parents used to live at Lake Monticello back in the early 80's......

</div>I only visited there a couple of times so I doubt I could tell you the street. It was a very nice place as I recall though.

Oh, my! I'm gettin' so very homesick for the Blue Ridge!! Used to drive from East Tenn. State Univ. up to Waynesboro, right thru Salem - remember all those foggy evenings! Hope you have a wonderful time!!

Oh, I would LOVE to be there!! Not too far from friends & family that I get to see only once a year!! (Long way from Central Texas!)

Unfortunately, I'll be recuperating from foot surgery for the next few months and this year is out of the question. Beautiful time of year to be there, though - take some pictures and post 'em so I can miss 'home' even more!! LOL!!

"IF"....we manage to get up on the Parkway I am sure that a lot of photos will be taken. I am an avid photographer and take photos everywhere I go. Drives the better half crazy sometimes as I am always wanting to stop somewhere and take a few.
