Wonder if anyone out there has any good or bad opinions on the Running Boards for the Tri Glide. I seen a set on a Tri Glide today and sort of like them, but was wondering about the pros and cons of them. Any thoughts on cost and best place to purchase them?

Thank you,
Bill

For us...no cons..only pros. A different step, better looks..I don't remember the cost, but Lehman is where I got it. My Harley dealer put it on. I think our cost installed was about $1400.

at least 1600 to buy with paint..depends on the color paint too on the price I found out..

The sponsors on this site has some posted.

Lehman and Motor Trike..

Thanks to the comments. I ordered mine this weekend from Amazon.com and they are Motor Trike brand with a fog light molded into theirs. Liked the shape of theirs a bit better with the light. I'll get the paint and do my own with PPG paint. Will post when I get them on and done with pictures.

Thanks,
Bill

I had the Lehman boards on my 03 and loved them, had them installed on my 13, didn't care for Motor Trikes shape and style but did like the spot to add lights. cost me between $1400-$1500 as I had the exhaust headers changed out to get rid of the heat from the converter installed in the head pipe

Do you have photos of running boards on your TG...can send to bhotel@cableone.net

Well the install of the Motor Trike running boards is completed. They have been fitted, sanded and prep'd and painted. Installed them today and they look great! I have not run my wiring harness to the fog lights yet being that I want to modify it for a separate switch, other then just using the stock accessory switch.
Everything is fine with the install, but will be some getting use to the wider stance when getting off, as not to scuff them from my shoes. I also did not install the rubber step pads on yet either, may think of something different. I found the install easy, a lot of sanding of the fiberglass flashings, some filling of slight imperfections in the surface (all normal fiberglass stuff installing new parts). Cheaper than having them professionally installed. Some pics included in post.:10::)5-2014end 017.JPG5-2014end 020.JPG5-2014end 019.JPG5-2014end 027.JPG
