Rumbling Pride Trident Flag Kit Installation

Long story short, after being told for weeks that the Trident flag kit won't fit the 2014-16 Tri Glide models, and the Rumbling Pride website "confirming" that, a chance encounter at a local event plus a later phone call to the local rep confirmed they do have a Trident bar model that fits the 14-16's. That's the good news, it should arrive sometime this week. Now, my 2016 TG did not come with a CB and/or antenna. I have a little round plastic nub instead of the CB antenna. In order to install the flag bar kit over "both" antenna threads, I'll need to somehow pop out that little plastic piece, then find another thread/stub of some sort (or buy an actual antenna) to hold down the Trident bar. Has anyone else done this and can tell me the best options?

I'm pretty sure that there isn't any threads under the plastics nubbins. They will make you buy a separate 'kit' for that.

Since I started riding Harleys, I've really come to hate the word 'kit'. Everything they sell in parts is a 'kit'.

The US Flag store has nice antenna flags. Type in motorcycle flags. I think there 4x9 slip overs.

Just pry out the plastic protective cap and use a short stainless bolt the same thread size ... I think it is 1/4-20 ... but not absolutely sure.
