Only had my trike for about 6 weeks now. Never had a cruise on bike till now either. So today on my New Years Day ride I looked down at speedo & saw my rev light on going down highway. Not sure when I pushed it on during ride. Got into town and used rev. It still worked as normal. What kind of damage did it do or not do?

I believe you are good Brian..... You can't be the first to do that and I've never heard of any damage due to accidental switch activation. I thought we got a blinking reverse light on the dash to alert in that situation but have never tried to see if it actually would blink... :D Here's hoping I guess correctly... :xszpv: :xszpv:

It may have been flashing. I turned it off when I saw it probably quicker than it could have blinked. Lol. I tried it rev when I got home and everything seemed good

there are several safety mechanisms in place and I believe on of them is being in neutral. Although the light came on I doubt anything happened and you should be good.

No harm done. Reverse is mechanically locked out of engagement while in any gear.

To test it for yourself ... at idle shift into any gear and push the "Rev" switch to the on position. You will find that reverse will not function. The same mechanism locks out shifting once reverse is engaged. To test that ... at idle and in neutral, push the "Rev" switch to the on position. Then try to shift into gear. You will find that reverse operates but not able to shift.
