Road smith Comfort Controls compatible with trike running boards?

In my search for more legroom I'm looking for anyone using the Roadsmith Comfort Controls on a trike that has running boards. In particular, on either a Roadsmith GL1800 kit or a CSC Viper, again for the GL1800. Pictures would be great if you have them!
Thanks!

A tall friend of mine has a Roadsmith trike, the new version; HTS1800. He simply took the footpegs off and place his feet anywhere he wants on the running boards. Says it works like a champ for him. Didn't cost a dime, much less $700 or whatever it is.

I met an older gentleman several years ago also on a Roadsmith and he had taken the pegs off his and said the liked it that way. He was a shorter individual around 5' 8" or so. Said it was no problem shifting which was what I was wondering about.

Morning Ed. I had my left knee replaced and it was very painful to use the rider pegs so I manufactured new mounting plates that let me flip my pegs vertical and just use the Roadsmith "Wing Gurards" to rest my feet. I would have just removed the pegs but I must have them to mount/dismount from the trike. Here a link to a couple photos (post #21) showing both sides. If you'd like more and better pictures shoot me a PM. :xszpv::xszpv:
