Chickie, I guess it depends on what your ordering. I've used both and right now I've got a bunch of Kuryakyn stuff on my trike. I like the fit but if it's chrome, Kury has had some issues with it. Seems to rust and pit pretty quick. I used Rivco floorboards and a few other things on my GL-1500 bike and they were fine. Your choice....

I have Rivco drivers floorboards, heal/toe shift, (modified) and a "big brake" pedal. Chrome holds up better (except Rust)then that of Kurys stuff. (Ergo II's/ luggage rack/ back rest/ anything chrome tend to flake off. But the Rivco stuff must be polished otherwise they start to rust< but hey, at least the chrome does'nt flake off with a hard rain....
Odviously, I use what ever looks like it will work. I wanted BIG Boards for my feet, and Kury could'nt offer. Shop around, I have other kury stuff on the bike, A tail rack, I clear coated it before installing. (No flaking or polishing)
Ergo's....Look like they came from a bone yard after 6months, but I think I'll just paint them to match bike. Damed if I give them that money twice.
