Risers

For my future Road Smith, trying to figure this out.....

Kury Risers, Up 1", back 2" or

MBLs: Standard, Up 3/4", grips in 2 1/4"

Wide, Grips remain the same as OEM, 3/4" Up, 1 1/4" back.

2005 Wing, I'm 5' 7"....I know the 5.5 degree rake will bring the bars back some, not sure how much. I'm wondering, if I get the standard MBLs, that brings the grips in 2 1/4", so how would that impact the push/pull steering leverage? More effort in the turns?

Complicated question and just asking for any input or opinions that might be out there. Right now I'm thinking that the Kury's might be the best for me, but have an open mind on this.

I put Kury risers on my 2004 Wing when I converted to the trike kit. It certainly does make handling much easier, since you turn those handlebars so much more.

+1 on the Kury risers. They clearly made a difference on my 'Wing/Smith'.

I have the wide MBL's. I am 5' 10. You are not stretched out as much. A little more bend in the elbows. No problem with the wires or cable length. CSC with 4.5 degree Power Track.

Best to wait untill trike complete and Steering Angle/Trail modification (modified from OEM Triples) installed as well. Obtaining the proper (FOR YOU) rise-pullback-width involves many variables including sleeve/arm length, shoulder width, Height from waist to shoulders. Those don't come into play for "tweak to fit" until the beginning platform is done and static. All that is different by bike, trike brand and of course-You the Operator. I realize that unless you have a set Custom-Made to fit you as an individual you are somewhat limited in your options but just the ones you list will be incredibly different even with the seemingly small variation in dimensions and subsequent effects.
I'm sure there is probably a thread already here somewhere that will explain how to properly gauge what riser mods will maximize your individual comfort and control. If not, just ask and I or someone else will do our best to walk you through it. If you have the means and desire, I do highly suggest a custom fitting and manufacture of tailored risers. Trikes are a huge investment and commitment which most hope to use and enjoy for many miles and years. It will blow your mind how having the proper Rise, Pullback, and Width will make a huge contribution to how much you enjoy your riding experience and therefore, how much you ride and how long you keep your unit. Likewise, Seat and lower Controls. A comparatively small outlay of time and money will go a Loooonnnngggg way in insuring your trike is all you want, need and hope it to be.
