trying to remove the trunk lock from the trunk on rg3. i took the 2 screws off the back of the housing that holds the cable inside the trunk... it doesnt want to budge. dont want to break anything.. is there a trick or am i missing something? thanks in advance!

I’m surprised no one has replied. Isn’t your lock the same as the Freewheeler? It looks as though it would separate after removing the bolts. Surely someone has dealt with this.
