I found this on another thread can some one tell me or show me a picture to let me know what he is talking about?

cut (grind or otherwise) that reverse block tab off the plate (the one that makes you push down to get reverse). Depending on the location of your shifter, most VW trike builders find it easier to not have to push down to get to reverse. There really is not much 'gear grinding' once you've shifted a few times and gotten used to it and the easy access to reverse is a blessing.

Have you done this before? Mine is kind of hard to get in reverse.

I did it to mine. Since I have a very short shifter, and it is under my left thigh, it is a pain to get into reverse. Now, I just shift it down. I was all worried about accidentally throwing it in reverse, but really, i may have ground the gears once since I did it, and that is it.

Thanks ThumbUp
