Red Hound Screen Protector for Harley 6.5. Boom Box from Amazon

Just installed a new screen protector from Amazon. Installation is easy if you use the wet install procedure using 3 drops of baby shampoo and water in the included spray bottle. The protector was not as thick as the original one installed by HD. It went on extremely easy and the instructions for removing the excess water works as advertised. It does mention that it does not fit the 2017 Tri Glide but it fit the 6.5 screen perfectly. Here is the one that I purchased and installed.

I will post an update after six months or sooner depending on how well it lasts.

I always used a clean soft cloth to wipe the screen protector. One day, I noticed that it look like it was peeling and continued to get worse over time. After about 4 months and I decided to replace it. I took it to a dealer to have them look at it and was told it was not covered by my warranty. They would change it, but I would have to pay for it. I began to look on line where others had changed the screen protector and decided I could do it myself.

I put an anti glare screen protector on everything, cell phone, couple cameras, H-D screen, I-Pod, even one of my old LED watches.

Very cheap insurance.
