Rear Disc Brakes

Need someone who really KNOWS about rear disc brakes on a VW trike---

On my rear disc brakes, there are 2 bleeder screws on each caliper.

When I bleed the brakes, do I have to bleed both bleeder screws on each caliper or just one of them?

Want to do this right!

Thank you!

Do I bleed them one at a time or both together?

I have had all kinds of people tell me different things.
I need to KNOW what is the correct procedure.

Thanks.

If one bleeder is positioned higher than the other you only need to bleed the upper one. If you crack both open at the same time you'll get fluid out of the lower and introduce air into the system through the upper. Some calipers use 2 bleeders so that they can be mounted on either side. If a caliper has only one bleeder it must be mounted at the top.
