I've been spending the week readying the trike for our years runs. Had the air filter replaced, new plugs, adjusted the valves, installed new rear tires (front due in a couple months) and greased the u-joints, will change the oil & filter tomorrow.

I was interested in the rear tire change, 38K miles on them, still over half treads, but they were six years old... and we had some problems last summer with hydro-planing in heavier rains. So, I downsized the tires from 225/60-15's to a 205/70-15, nearly the same diameter, but about 7/8" narrower. I did the same swap on the Valkyrie trike, and it made a world of difference on wet roads, still handled the twisties as well as I can ride.

Those rear tires had had Ride-On balancer in them for the last 28K miles. I know some have had worries about it being on the wheel (there was *none* there) and it's distribution in the tire. I can tell you the consistency was the same, but it was white instead of the original pink. In the pic below, you can see the distribution in the tire with the recommended amount by Ride-On. The stuff, imo, does exactly what the manufacturer said it would.
