Can anyone with a 6* rake on their Trike give me the measurement (inches) from the bottom of front fender to Front Engine Cover Crankcase bolt on a Honda GL1800 GOLDWING 2001-2013. I want to compare it to my Trike. Thanks

I have a 5.5 % rake on my Goldwing................ how much difference does an 1/2 percent make???

I measured from the center of the big front cover bolt to the lower lip of my front fender and it is 6 and 1/4 inches. I do not have any fender extension. My rake is 4 and 1/2 degree (I believe) so that might give you a reference point. I, too, am interested to find what that measurement is with a 6 degree rake. Hopefully someone will chime in..... I have a 2020 CSC trike kit on my 2006 GL1800. It has their 6 degree Power Trak rake kit on it.

Measuring from the bottom edge of the front fender to the crankcase bolt is, IMO, not the best way to measure this. First, the bottom of the fender is much lower than the crankcase bolt, and second, this "bottom of the fender" measurement may change slightly on different bikes depending on what front fork suspension they are using and how high the bike rides on it.

So, I measured from the crankcase bolt directly straight across horizontally to the back of the fender itself. (The rear most portion of the fender that is directly horizontally across from the crankcase bolt.)

That measurement on my bike is right at about 5".

Thanks Wingman..... Your method of measuring is a better one. I just measured mine and it is right at 4 1/4 inches from the center of the bolt to the closest point on the front fender. So now, at least, we have a reference point to go on. Make me wonder what that measurement would be on a stock wing..... Jim
