Radio selection foe the FreeWheeler

Just wondering if anyone has put a radio on the FreeWheeler yet and what kind you put on, Harley or a aftermarket and PROs and CONs.

Radio for my Freewheeler

I just bought the Boss Rebel MC500 set-up from Walmart. I haven't received it yet, won't be delivered until next week. It looks pretty simple to hook up but we'll see. All the reviews have it sounding great. It's only $90.00 so I figured it's worth a try. You can Google Boss MC500 and find out all about it. As soon as I get and install it, I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

The BOSS MC-500 is outstanding. Speakers alittle large but sound is awesome. I put one on my FW last year.

Boss Stereo System

The only draw back to the Boss system is you have to mount the amp somewhere where you can reach the on button, the remote will only turn the system "off" not "on". I was going to mount it under the seat but didn't want to take the seat off every time I needed to turn it "on", so I mounted it in the leather windshield bag. It works and sounds great although it does get a little hot after awhile. I wish I could figure out a better place to put the amp.

Why not mount it under the seat and run a switch to turn it off and on?
