Programming a 2012-present Goldwing Remote

I have tried repeatedly to program the remote for a 2012 Gold Wing with no luck. I have had others (2) to read the directions and try with no luck.
1st) I don't know that the remote I'm trying to program works, however a new battery was installed and the red light operates when a button is pushed.
2nd) I tried to program my original remote and wasn't able to get the turn signals to respond (blink twice) as the manual says they will do on the last cycle of the sequence to show everything is in the program mode. I tried this to make sure I was correctly following Honda's instructions, after this failed I resorted to #3
3rd) I called California Side Car to verify after a conversion the trike would still program a remote as noted from the factory. The CSC rep. indicated although he hadn't programed any himself he would didn't see why all systems would still be functional as from factory.

Has any one with a Gold Wing (2012-present) with a CSC trike kit installed successfully programmed a remote.:xzqxz:

I had read that Honda changed things in 2012. I am finding out before 2012 some Honda Automobile remotes could be programed to operate the Gold Wing but anything after 2012 requires a different remote and the auto remotes are not compatible. I do know to purchase a remote the 2012 and later remote is higher. I was trying to program the device according to the instruction in my manual. When I had a couple other people to try I would not interfere. I just handed them the remote and the instructions and let them do it themselves . Many times I read too much into something so I thought that might be happening here. Thus far no one has been able to get it done. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it all sooner or later.

New Remote

Does any know what remote will work on our new 2016 Goldwing Trike? We would like to have an extra one but wasn't sure where we could get one (without going to the dealer) and finding one that was compatible with our 2016 trike?

Thanks so much
