Did some more work on a friend’s Tri-Glide today. I have never worked on a Tri, until he came along. Now, I have done all kinds of things to his trike and the one before. Not complaining, because I now know how things are wired under the seat and how to add accessories to mine, …… when I get it! LOL

I’ve only had mine since January but I’ve had it apart… it’s a different animal than my 07 Electra Glide in the back anyway…Not that complicated.

I like to see what is under the cover

Yeppers.

I have been under a few Ultras, Street Glides, and Road Glides bonnets, but never a Tri. I am curious on how hard it is to change out the inner fairing. I am guessing that my new Tri will have a flat black inner and I would like it to be the glossy black inner.

Places like sturgis, daytonna etc etc, usually have places that will switch out your inner fairing for whatever color you want, just a thought. Another thing is my friend on his 2003 ultra was thinking the same thing, he wanted gloss intead of flat, he had a bottle of back to black and he tried that in small place to try it out, it worked really good, he ended polishing the rest of inner fairing the best he could, he is happy with the outcome, he told me it took awhile, he was thinking of tearing it apart during the winter and getting it repainted but this worked out for him, just a thought

All for now Trampas
