Post your Tow-Pac Fender lights rear view and how you did it!

I'm waiting for my Tow-Pac InstaTrike W/ 15" wheels, Kit to come in, that will go on my Harley Ultra Classic, I hope next week.

I'm wanting to install Running, Turn, and brake lights on the flat part on the fender where the reflectors go,

before I send them out to be painted.

I'm reading here in old post, that it's hard to find a good way to run the wires under the fiber glass finders,

and Wire them to the bike!

Has anyone come up with a good way to do this?

Does anyone have pictures of the install?

Where did you purchased the lights and other items used, and just how you did it.

Any help and Pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!

My LED lights came from etrailer and I used the additional chromed plastic frame as well...

Bob,

I'm out of town right now and won't be back for a few weeks, but I can measure it when I get back, or maybe someone else can chime in and give you the measurements...

I just got off the phone with Tow-Pac

My finders are different than your's, seems the 15" wheels have different fenders

but have a flat part on them at the rear. Their concern was the weight of the lights.

So I will see what the finders look like when they come in.

I may fiberglass some brackets for the light wires and at the same time

beef up the finders if I can, or I will have to drill holes in the finders for wire brackets.

They are saying around 11-7-17 it should be at my door, a week from today!

Bob,

Didn't think of the different fender sizes for the 15" wheels but it makes sense... Those lights look pretty large but if the fenders for the 15" wheels are larger, they may fit...

I chose the red and yellow LED's as I wanted to maintain yellow colored lights for the turn signals to match the Wing... The original lights I installed are still going strong after their installation in 2013 when I got my Tow Pac kit...

I can give you a link for the stick on wire holders I use... They are by Panduit and are available from Mouser Electronics and they stick quite aggressively... Again, I still am using those I installed 4+ years ago when I installed the lights...

Looking forward to seeing your finished kit when installed...

Thanks a lot. I ordered 20 of them last night. If I don't use all of them on the bike I will use them around my shop, or music studio!

When you use them, as with all sticky tape products, clean the surface with alcohol thoroughly and let dry... After application, let them sit for 24 hours for the adhesive to cure... The Panduit cable tires are quite good and you shouldn't have a problem with them coming off if you apply them correctly...
