plug question

Am about to instal an accessory plug to the forward left storage box. After removing the box as per instructions I noticed 2 plugs covered with a rubber skirt. One red the other white. I think I need to use the red one for the accessory outlet. What is the white one for?.....Thanks....Alan

The white one goes to your AUX connection on the radio
