Forgot I had taken this pic...only took the one at the beginning. Took awhile to get it all out...first with the drill, then with a dremel.

Took long enough to get rid of this EPA POS, glad I did not have to remove the headers to do it.

Well thats close but the one I saw had the little trap door all the way off, and the cat was removed with an air chisel. I just dont remember where the cut was to be made to get to the cat. Where is it located on an 09 exhaust.

I believe the 09 models cat is in the mufflers not in the head pipe...

09 is in the head pipe, the only years with cat in mufflers was 06 Touring and 06-08 CVO touring, I can't speak for California.

I don't believe the 09 has a cat. I know a friend put a 09 head pipe on his 11 because it did not have a cat in it. The only problem was the O2 sensor bungs in the 09 pipe where up near the cylinder head, so he had to weld in the smaller bungs down where they were in his 11 pipes.

I should have said the California model and CVO touring 2009 have a cat in the head pipe, sometimes my fingers go faster than my brain:).
