I have to ask again 'cause last time all I got where smiley faces. I'm assuming that there is no way to delete pics from the upload file manager? Got some there taking up space I will never use again.

I believe you just go to/click on "Settings" (left of Log-Out on top of page) then scan down left Margin of Settings Page to "Attachments" and click that.

It should bring up all the Pics you have put in Posts.

Click to put Check-marks in the boxes on the right side of the Ones you want to delete.

Then scan down to bottom right of that Page and click "Delete Selected".

Go to the top right of the forum page and click on "Settings". Then go to the bottom of "My Settings" and click on "Attachments". This will open a list of all of your attachments, if there are a lot, the list may take up two or three pages. Click on each attachment you want to delete, then scroll to the bottom of the list and click delete.

Well that got rid of the old post but old pics still in the download manager.:xzqxz:

ZOOK & Veritas44 this place Cavie is talking about is different then the place y'all are referring to. I don't know how I got there or where to find the download manager but I saw it earlier today when I was having problems loading the videos and map pictures....

The price we pay for having all these GREAT features.... :xszpv::xszpv:

Settings, attachments, click on boxes to remove, delete all marked. That removes all the post with the pictures I want to remove from the download manager. That does not remove the old pictures from the download manager. That's fine but.......

When I click on manage attachments, I don't want to see a picture of my old floorboards showing my feet. The pics served the purpose. I don't need it anymore. Why is there not a "Delete pics" button??

Gremlins or Interface is Demonically Possessed ;)
Spritz with Holy Water and do not input any Data after Midnight
Know any Priests who are also IT Guys? :D

Sorry those Steps didn't work for you for whatever reason.
Maybe Zook has a different Incantation in his bag of Forum Sorcery and Hocus Pocus to try.

Looks like there is no solution to this problem again. Maybe some of you do not understand exactly what is going on.

When you upload a picture to use in a post, your photo album, etc., it is stored in a location called "File Upload Manager." All pictures ever uploaded by you are stored there.

The method described above deletes the picture(s) ONLY from the post that it was used in, or "attached to". It still remains in the File Upload Manager. There appears to be no way to permanently delete them from this location.

This is what Cavie, and others want to know, how to delete them from the File Upload Manager, not just attachments. Hope this clears the air.

Ohhhhhh,,,,,
ThumbUp
Now I see.
Never thought about that as never had the desire.
I'm sure it's an easy Fix/Addition for Zook's Coders.
Thanks for the clarification.
