I bought a 4 degree triple tree from Randy and was wondering if I should paint it or not before installing.
What do most guys do?

Thanks Bruce (Dirtman)

Is it made from a rust resistant material? If so, then not a big deal. Me, I would paint it anyways. Unless it is some shiny stainless steel that you like the look of.

No need to paint it and with the Wing it isn't seen much so that would be a personal preference for sure. I would not waste the time or paint if it were me. Have installed several and they all are still shinny aluminum. It also makes it easier for future owners to identify the existence of a non OEM triple tree. :xszpv::xszpv:

The hog halter triple tree I bought from zook is polished to the point of looking chrome. Cant see it with my big tour glide fairing.

Be careful painting aluminum, If it is not prepped right and use the right kind of paint, most of it will peel off in no time and look like crap. Don't ask how I know this, but I do have a tee-shirt!!!
