Paint code?

Hello it has been awhile? Trying to find the paint code for the 2008 vulcan 900 custom. Storm trike with the nag rear end? All i have found is it is a Plum crazy purple , It looks to have metal flack in the paint job? Any help would be appreciated thank's in advance Bill.

From what I found in my search for paint. Kawasaki does not have paint codes and they don't sell factory paint. Color Rite has paint.

It looks like Plum Crazy and may be a custom color. You should have a reference to that in your paperwork. The Factory (Kawasaki) only had at most 6 or 8 colors. Luminous Polaris Blue, 631, is the closest color but doesn't look the same as your avatar. Photo scanning can come close. Take it to a Custom Auto Body Shop and have them put the camera on it. Your original paperwork should contain that information. May even go to Kawasaki's site (or a dealer) and your VIN number might provide the original color.

Where did you find reference to Plumb Crazy Purple?

I agree, it looks like the color as I recall it coming out on some 1970 model Chrysler Corporation (Plymouth, Dodge, & maybe some Chrysler New Yorkers?) cars. Old paint catalogs might lead a fellow to a number or "recipe" to start from? They used a similar color on some later models, like PT Cruiser I think. If a painter added a custom touch, like more flake … good luck.

Scanning works.

Thank you
