I need to put a wider brake pedal on my trike. I had foot surgery and if the brake pedal was wider it would take some of the pressure off of my foot. Have any of you used a wider brake pedal? I don't want to buy one just to find out it won't work with aqua boards. I have a GL1800 Motortrike with aqua boards.

I saw this in an Add-On catalog. I have one just like it on our '04 with the Add-On rider floorboards. It is not only larger, it also raises up the pedal up about 2" or so. It doesn't say in the info, but it measures 4 1/2" X 2". The the catalog page even has a link to find a dealer in your area.

I have a Valkyrie Motortrike and that's the same option I put on mine.

You'll have to drill a hole through your existing brake pedal to mount it. I've found that it really does help. What I do is have my foot on the highway peg and press down on the brake pedal with my heel due to it being raised so much. You can also have your foot on the regular floor board, but you'll definitely have to lift your foot to place it on this raised pedal. I think it was worth it.
