The main problem I continue to have with the kit is riding on uneven pavement. Many of our city and area streets and roads are not flat and smooth, they have uneven bumpy pavement, whether asphalt or concrete, and when riding on them bike bounces and rocks side-to-side, which also jerks the handlebars, with the severity depending upon how uneven the pavement.
MTC suggested I lower the tire pressure from 20 lbs to 15 lbs. That didn’t seem to make any difference in how the bike handled. Then I tried changing the preload from the recommended ½ inch setting for my bike to ¾ in preload. None of those adjustments changed the dynamics of how the bike handles. One thing I've noticed in looking at pictures of other bikes (Harley, Goldwing, etc) it appears that the kit tires are in line with the bike's rear wheel. However, on my Yamaha, they do not...the kit tires line up about 4-6 inches behind the rear wheel. However, MTC told me that shouldn't make any difference in how it rides.
Almost thinking of going back to 2 wheels at this point.
