Took the trike out for the first real ride of the new year and wow, what a difference a year makes. This time last year I was so worried riding it and way over thought everything. Now I just climb on and go :).

I plan on this being my main transportation this spring, summer and fall. That way I can enjoy going to and from work. I am lucky in that I enjoy my work also.

Don't get too comfortable, there are things that you haven't done for the last at least three months. Take the time to brush up on your handling in an empty parking lot. Even if you only take 30 minutes and a few traffic cones, practice a little just to get the cobwebs out. I would hate to hear about anyone on this website injured or worse due to slow response. Ride safe.

Good advice bustedwing! When I ride I try to make each trip out a learning experience, not unlike when I was building hours for my commercial pilots license.

Always signal lane changes; always double check left and right when doing lane changes. Keep yourself busy practising safety checks! Practise the layout of all your controls so you can use them effortlessly in darkness.

If you make a driving error, run over it frequently in your mind and make a point of learning from the experience.

Repeating bad driving habits can end up with months of hurt!

Happy, safe riding to everyone! :):GL1800::GL1800::GL1800::GL1800:
