I went to see my disassembled Venture this morning and to check out my Hannigan Kit as they were uncrating it.

the Dealer told me that his goal is to have it all buttoned up and ready to pick up next Saturday!!!

I am getting pretty anxious now!!!

Hey!! I just discovered that I can upload pics from my iPad!!! Woo Hoo!!

the Pic that shows the large Gear is the Reverse. I thought it interesting.

Did your installer explain why it will take a week or longer to do the install?
Just wondering!
You will love the ride the Hannigan conversion gives you.
Fortunately you got the GenI!

Craig be sure to snap a few pics of the bike when the body is off and frame mounted. Also of the auxiliary tank installed.
Larry
BTW: You're going to love having that reverse as it sure is handy at times.
PM sent as well.

Almost!!

He said 95%. So, hopefully I can bring her home tomorrow afternoon. (Yes I am getting anxious).

You folks are prolly gonna see a lot of me until I get the leftovers sold and I get 'Big Blue' just as I want her.

We don't mind. That's why we're here every day, to share in everyone's adventures, good or bad. That's a nice looking machine, congrats, and have many miles of fun

Well, I was able to pick her up today and drove the 90 miles home!!

From my previous 15 minutes on a Trike a couple of years ago and from listening to Horror stories of first rides from others, I was pretty apprehensive about riding her. - No need!! I hopped on her and felt at home right away. I did a few figure-8s in the parking lot, etc... then headed for home.
I was and still am VERY impressed on the handling and especially the RIDE!! This Trike is a full 180 degrees from the one I test rode a couple years ago!! I just can't say enough about it!! I could go on and on!

So, add my name to the long list of people that said 'I wish I had done it YEARS ago!!!'

Pics looking good. Seeing as the body is on I'm assuming the tank install went well.

Good. Larry

I am curious what my range is going to be now. I know my gas mileage will be pretty poor.

Fuel mileage varies depending on speed, wind, and if trailer towing. I've gotten as low as 20mpg towing 2 up in hilly country or in heavy head winds on the highways. Towing at 70-75 I generally get 25-27mpg on level highways. Running without the trailer at 55-60 mileage jumps to between 28- 30, with 32mpg's tossed in if running in the 50-55 zone. Another factor is windshield size. I use a F-4 in extra tall & wide so that affects mpg as well.
MPG What's dat ? Just get on and ride, when it's almost empty fill er up and go.
More appropriate is how many Smiles Per Gallon you get!
