spent more money and more time with these folks than I am willing to admit, margarita heaven, talk about authentic mexican food, this place invented it, I believe my name is still on the wall for drinking some ungodly number of pictures of margaritas, at the time it killed the pain!!! enjoy this joint

Herrick's Tavern in Orange, MA. Open 11am to "last call". Great food, HUGE portions, average prices, wonderful ice cream! It's actually an "entertainment complex" - restaurant/tavern/ice cream/mini golf/gokarts/putting green/who knows what else (check the website! :)) On a nice day, if you sit near the windows you can watch bikes go by all day, or you can go out back and sit on the outdoor patio overlooking the green (and watch airplanes go over!). It's right on Route 202, which is a nice ride on it's own, and less than a mile to Route 2 which, heading west, leads to the Mohawk Trail, the Berkshires, and New York.

Kimball's Farm. I've only been to the one in Jaffrey the last 30+ years, but they have 3 locations - hours seem to be 10am to 8pm or 9pm, depending on the location and activity. I usually only get a soda or ice cream (VERY good!), but the one time I got food there was more than I could finish! Also a very popular bike spot (as robandlyn will attest ;))

murphy's steakhouse
1625 w. frank phillips blvd.
bartlesville, oklahoma

this place started in 1942, and is still the homey little diner that it was then. you need to order the hot hamburger here.(aren't all hamburgers hot?) they put 2 slices of texas toast on a platter, next, 2 burger patties, next a WHOLE bunch of really great fries, all covered with THE BEST brown gravy in the world! trust me folks, you want to tell the waitress you want a half-order. it's more than anyone can eat. they are on the web-search under murphy's steakhouse-bartlesville, ok.

On the road restaurants.... 2010 - Eastern NC

Smokehouse Restaurant - US-17 Holly Ridge, NC. Great BBQ.

Em 'R Wings - Williams St, Apex, NC. Best wings going and it ain't because I use to cook there either.

The Silos - Broad St., Oriental, NC. Great food be it seafood or steaks.

Come to SC on a Friday or Saturday and eat at anything with BBQ in the name. The ratter the building the better the BBQ, no such thing as web sites, just about every small town has one.

first off i was unable to open last years list so i hope i am not repeating restaurants that have already been mentioned.
I have owned a horse drawn vehicle business for over thirty years (we also build motorcycle hearses) , so thru the past 30 years we have delivered horse vehicles to every state in the union and during these travels have ate at a lot of good ones

One of my favorites is Lambert's café , the original is in Sikeston Mo . Norm Lambert was a close friend of mine who i build some 13 vehicles for. He also built two other restaurants for his sons one just North of Branson Mo and another in Foley Al. Lambert's Cafe - The Only Home of Throwed Rolls - Sikeston, MO | Ozark, MO | Foley, AL

Another is one we found this winter while wintering in Donna TX. You will need to refer to the map on this link to find Gonzales Burger - Donna | Urbanspoon-lot's of Bikes visit here.
This place is a one room bldg that looks like a ranch style house on the outside. No signs or name but you will see the cars and bikes when you get close
Story is : The guy who owns this place raises his own beef . butchers his own beef--grinds his own beef---fresh every day. He does 200# of beef a day and when it's gone he closes the doors! He opens at bout 11AM and closes in the 4 pm area ,
Never had a better burger-Known in the area as the Gonzales burger or the Bertha burger------lever locked a lip on a better burger !!

And the last (hard to narrow it down to three) Is Waldorf's Bistro in Hastings Mich
The guy who founded and owns Waldorf's name is Mike----went to school with my daughter.
This place is a renovated beautiful 3 floor bldg that has a history of it's own. Mike took special care when setting up shop in the bldg to preserve as much of the antiquity of it's character as he could
It tells on his menu cover all the uses this building has served threw the years but to remember just a few it was a furniture building company, a retail furniture store , a post office-a funeral business just to name a few !!
Bike nite is Thursday and has some good food and beer specials for bikers. They brew there own beer here and the food is second to none
walldorff Brew Pub - Home

Beas Restaurant...4500 Dodds Ave. Chattanooga, Tn 37407......Fried Chicken, Slaw, Pinto Beans, Potato Salad, Peach Cobbler, etc. ...been servin' the same Food in the same Building since 1950 on lazy susans, and They keep bringin' more as long as You eat...still a packed House

Pikeville Store in Pikeville, Alabama....the Store "IS" Pikeville....it sits at the intersection of CR470, CR32, CR21, and CRCR35 outside Scottsboro, Alabama, below Crow Mountain. Take very twisty Crow Mountain (CR 33, and/or CR39) for the most entertaining way there (middle of nowhere).....Cheeseburgers, Fries, Onion Rings.....Folks travel for miles for the Famous Burgers

Hey Dave, are coming down for our rally this weekend?

"Hard 8" Bar-B-Que in Stephenville, TX. Arguably, the best in the state (always debatable) Stephenville is in a beautiful part of the state and is home to Tarleton State University. Definitely worth the visit!

Lebanon, Tennessee is middle tennessee 28 miles east of Nashville off I-40. For steaks, chicken and spaghetti try Demos off US 231S and Elaines Country Cooking before 1 pm on US231North.

In the Smokey Mountain area, go to Pigeon Forge for breakfast and eat at I Hops!
