When was the last time U added peanuts to ur coke???

Used to do it all the time when I was growing up,,,,:D

Had some tonight it still good :p

So what weird things did U do to food when U were growing up,,,

I know the coke and peanuts are a Southern thing, so U yankees must have done something different

VERY weird thing I did as a child...... Peanut butter, Sugar (just a light dusting over the peanut butter, and Cheese sandwich! And actually, I still think they taste good although I don't have one very often :D

Coke and Milk.
It could be worse. My moms generation thought that Coke and Aspirin could get you high (in Brooklyn)!

Anyone else put ketchup on mac and cheese?

Or a slice of cheese on apple pie? (american cheese or a thin slice of chedder - Brie or Gouda don't work too well.)

I'm allergic to them, but my dad used to put ketchup on his scrambled eggs.

No Steve, you weren't the only that liked peanuts in their coke. I remember it well and I'm a yankee... I have to admit that I haven't tried it again for quit some time, or since I chipped a tooth trying to get the last peanut into my mouth. Soda, more commonly referred to as "pop" back then, came only in glass bottles. The peanuts (they had to be the salty variety and carry the PLANTERS brand name), came in fist size cellophane bags, which could easily be poured into the small neck of a coke bottle. Yummmmmmmmm!!!

No ketchup on m&c, but american cheese on apple pie was good.

I can't eat scrambled eggs or an omelet any more without salsa . . .

Does anybody from down south remember crumbling cornbread (not the sweet kind) into a glass of cold milk - with salt & pepper? Sounds gross, but try it!

And you have to have salt & pepper on cantaloupe, right?

my father would mix syrup and butter together and eat it with his eggs and grits... then when that ran out he would pour coffee over his grits.....

Turkey sandwich with mayonaise, dressing, and cranberry sauce on white bread. Almost the entire thanksgiving dinner in one sandwich. Excuse me I've got to go raid the refrigerater.

My boyfriend still puts peanuts in his diet coke every morning. How about Saltine Crackers with butter on them, or French Fries dipped in Mayonnaise... yummmmmmmmm

I still put peanuts in my coke!
I also Love cornbread (not the sweet kind) into a glass of Cold Whole Milk.
Grandfather use to use ButterMilk but That Aint Right. :)
The peanut butter and banana sandwiches Sounds interesting
may have to give that a try.
