Oh, No! Another Front Tire Question

Ok, so it's time to think about a new front tire for Barbara's GL1200 which is a 130/90-16. Yes, I know about the "rear tire on the front" approach. The "overwhelming" (my analysis) opinion seems to be MPA or BT-45. As far as I can find, MPA's aren't made for 16" wheels (17" is the smallest I can find). Michelin does make something called a Commander II (Example: HERE). I'm only guessing, but since there is no "R" in the size designation, I'm led to believe they are both BIAS Ply.

Question 1 - Is the Commander II a satisfactory substitution for the MPA?

Finally, Bridgestone BT-45's are available in 130/90-16 (Example: HERE).

Question 2 - Setting aside cost - which one do "we" get?

Sorry for asking "another tire question"... :D

"Just My Opinion", but having been a Michelin Motorcycle Tire Fan for several years, I was never fond of the Commander II, even on 2-Wheelers....prefer most all of the "Pilot" Series (Road, Power, Activ, etc.) over the Commander Series.....in the case of no "16" available in the Pilot Activ Series, I would opt for the BT-45.....ThumbUp

I got32000 from the MPA on Pearl I,Iam trying a BT45 on PearlII.I can not tell the difference in looking at the tires.RIDE SAFE
