Took the triglide for a ride today to warm up the oil so I could change it. Got everything in place, thought I would try and break the oil filter loose before dropping oil, my wrench won't fit the oil filter, then remembered he used amsoil so I figure it is a amsoil oil filter which is bigger the HD ones, was not to happy and said a few words, dug out a old plastic one that I had and it fit so so but the hole where the extension goes in was cracked, guess that is why I got a different one, LOL. Just glad I didn't drop the oil yet until I figure how to get the oil filter broke loose and hope he didn't over tighten it when he put it on. Was looking online for something that might work and seen a few that might, just don't like spending money for a one time thing but may have to.

Poke a hole or two in it with a screwdriver, then use that to turn it.

Then get a Performance Oil Filter so you never have to buy a filter again, and they're easy on and off.

Better yet, get an oil filter relo kit, for super easy oil changes, plus your engine will thank you for running cooler.

Done the screw driver though the oil filter many a time, Especially with the first oil change on a new car or truck, Sometimes i think the factory paints over them...

Well I didn't do the screw driver, was thinking about it but I went to Menards and bought a 3 prong oil filter wrench that expands for $7.41 total, worked like a charm, it is now done and new oil and filter is in place. Will do tranny and primary at a later date.
