Hi all, I'm trying to get into a trike and trade my 2000 GW/SE on one. So far in my price range all I can find is junk. I've had lots of bikes and the Wings top my list. But:Dorag: finding a decent $$ & a decent condition is difficult. So I might get into a smaller Trike other than a Wing. Hate to give up all those creature comforts!

spend about $10,000.00-$12,000.00 and trike yours.
or Do what I did and take the Wing and the Harley off the list. Lots of other makes out there to look at. I didn't want a Harley and don't like the foot position of the Wing or the tupperwere. Bought my '05 VTX fully loaded for $13,200.00. 20,000 miles. Added about $500.00 of goodies. Has Kury everything, stereo, gps, cruise, LED's, bar chaps. Passenger armrest not shown in pics.

Welcome to Trike Talk! :wave4:

Is triking one of your current rides out of the question? It may be the economical way to go, and you already know the motorcycle and its history. Just a thought...

I had the same problem, couldn't afford what I wanted in a trike. So I triked out my Yamaha Stratoliner and it is the best thing I could have ever done, I love it!
Welcome from downtown Central Texas!

Thanks for all the replys. Good ideas. My current ride has 106500 miles so I'm concerned about triking it. Still looking, Ron (Florida)

Hello Hockey and welcome to the website from the U.P of Michigan. Having just over 100k on a Wing does not mean that it is anywhere near worn out. Those engines with regular maintenance can travel 300k or more before needing a major overhaul. I would have no qualms at all about converting your bike, it would make an excellent trike and save you money.

Thanks, good point. I purchased my 2000GW with 98K on it, seems in good shape but I'm concerned about the previous owners maintenance. I've had it 2 years.

Thank You. Have you dealt with these guys? I'm thinking about triking mine down there!
