Hi Everyone my name is Don from Rapid City, South Dakota. I had some surgery last year that ended up leaving me with limited use of my right leg. Not riding has been killing me so I took my 2005 FLHTCUI in for a Lehman trike conversion. Should h=get it back September 13th. I was one of those guys that said before I ride a trike I'll stop riding. Well after some pressure from a close friend I went out and test rode a bunch of trikes at Sturgis this year and discovered how cool they were. I also talked to everyone I saw at the rally with a trike and learned a lot. Now I can not wait to get back on the road.

Welcome, Don! :wave4:

When I was considering a trike I felt the same as you. I felt like everyone would immediately think that I was either a "feeb" or a "newb" if I were on a trike. But, my choice was to get trike, or be satisfied riding only a couple hundred miles a year on 2 wheels. You'll love your trike!

Would love to see some photos when you get her home! ThumbUp

I am so glad you made this decision. I didn't go through that problem as I hadn't been riding for several yrs. When I started shopping on line for trikes, I just thought they were very cool! Teh more I shopped, the deeper the Trike bug was bitting me.
I love mine!
All the best and I can't wait to hear your ride report.
