New to Trikes and new to blogging.... Hi... Im Linda (aka HURHOG)
Hello all! I'm one month new to owning my 2014 TriGlide. So far I'm happy with it, I have over 100,000 in 6 years on 3 bikes. Started with a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50C, 24,000 miles later, I traded in Sturgis for a 2008 Road King Classic which I put 49,000 miles on, traded that for a 2012 CVO Street Glide, then 4 weeks ago, traded my 28,000 miles CVO for a 2014 TriGlide. It now has 6,000 miles on it. I should have my 100,000 mile patch soon from Harley Davidson, maybe by the end of the year.
I love my trike, but I had SOOO many people look at me like I'd lost my mind. I'm totally able to ride a 2 wheeler still, I'm only 45, work out, healthy, ect... buy darn it, I road a trike at Lehman's in 2009 during Sturgis week and it was fun. Then recently I rode a couple and it was fun. So I thought, why not, and traded for a trike. I do miss the 110 in the CVO, which the trike DEFINATELY could use. Gas mileage, disappointed I'm only getting 33 - 35 mpg so I can't go over 130 miles without looking for a gas station. I also took it to the Harley dealer to get a new CB put on, but it was the first one they installed on 2014 triglide, and they haven't figured out how to get it under "com" and not "media'. SOOOO, now I'm hoping to figure out the blogging thing and try to find these and other questions I have on owning a trike! :xzqxz:
