Ive just made the jump to a trike after many years on two wheels. My wife and I wanted to be more comfortable two-up on rides and wanted to get a Harley in the process. We are from Franklin, TN and just purchased a 2005 Road Glide with a DFT smoothie kit. We are keeping the 2013 BMW K1600gtl for fun in the curves. We will see how we like the trike life. In any case, the new bike is a real looker, and with the stage II kit, it has lots of power. Heres a photo with my lovely wife.

Hey Jim! Welcome to TrikeTalk! Very nice pic of the trike and the Mrs.!

Put a few miles on the trike and you’ll find you like it very well... the stability on gravel parking lots, rain/oil slick streets, and slow u-turns is worth it.

Hello Jim

Welcome to trike talk from east Texas. we have kinfolks in Hartsville we see about 1st a year. your trike is (eye candy) I think you & your wife will like the trike world. give it some time and you will love it. just remember she has a wide but, the trike, so don't cut too close to post at gas stations and such. we have a gathering in Kerrville, Texas in sept. come on down and put some faces to the names. we will treat you so many ways you will have to like some of them

When doing my research before buying a trike, people posted that it takes about 5 or 6 hundred miles to get used to the trike. I rode Hondas and Harleys for 57 years. It took me all of 35 miles to wish the hell I’d bought a trike twenty years ago.
