New Ohlins, great ride, about time!

After much thought and research, I finally bit the bullet and bought new Ohlins for my Freewheeler from Howard at Motorcycle Metal. He was very busy, but took time to deal with me and get my order processed in a timely manner. The Ohlins arrived within a week.

i was busy, but finally installed the rear Ohlins on my 2018 Freewheeler with 800 miles on the clock. The trike rode so rough, my wife would not ride any more until I did something to improve the ride. The Ohlins were a perfect fit and now the trike rides like velvet. Many thanks to Howard at Motorcycle Metal.:)

There are no secrets to these suspensions. I am not an expert and would not wish to lead you down the wrong path for your suspension, weight and usage of your trike. Check with Howard at Motorcycle Metal or the Ohlin web site and you will get recommendations that will work with your usage. The Ohlins are not cheap, but they are the answer to these buckboard riding three wheelers. You will be glad you did. Good luck!

I was just curious what length & model shock you ordered. I have a 2017 Freewheeler.

I am actually ok for now with the stock air shocks, after trying different psi settings & a minor adjustment to the rear tire pressure.
