New to forum...looking to buy a Stallion. Anyone selling? Also need to know what comfort level to expect. I've been riding a 2004 Goldwing 1800. B It due to back issues I need to go to trike.

Welcome to Trike Talk from Central VA.ThumbUp

The Stallion is a great trike for sure. But being that you already have a Wing, have you given any thought to triking it? That'll definitely save you money.

Welcome! (from one ridin' Nana to another :D)

Depending on what your back issues are.... If you will have no trouble with STEERING the trike with handlebars, Rich is correct that simply making your GW a trike is one terrific option. If you pain is in your shoulders, neck, and upper back, the Stallion may be the better option for you. It has a steering wheel instead of handlebars, and is an automatic. I've driven a Stallion once for about 25 miles and found it very comfortable, and it seems Stallion owners are extremely happy with their choice in general.

Welcome NANA4 glad you joined us.Like Rich sez you might look into triking your wing. With a 6" rake it takes very little effort to steer it.GOOD LUCK! RIDE SAFE

Welcome to Trike Talk from SE Missouri. I have a Stallion but it's not for sale. I had a Goldwing before I got the Stallion and the seat on the Goldwind was better than the one on the Stallion but I got a seat pad and now it works great. The Stallion rides great and I love it but I'm a Stallion owner and I also liked the Goldwing I had before. If you have a chance to take a test ride on a Stallion that would be your best way to make the up your mine on what is the best for you.ThumbUp

Welcome to TT - glad you found us. Send a PM to TT member "nklosterman". As of a few days ago, he had one for sale. I know ZERO about it (the seller or the stallion), just trying to give you a lead.

Hello Nana and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. I also will voice an opinion to check into a trike kit for your Wing. I have had serious back problems since a head on accident in 2002 after which I had 9 surgeries in the next 2 years. But with the help of a backrest, a good seat, and several different foot positions and the handle bars set just right for me, I have no problem traveling the full length of the fuel tank(160miles) in full comfort. I have ridden 600 miles and of course been tired but not hurt or crippled up for two days. And my kit is a Lehman with a straight axil which makes it ride stiffer than an independent axil. The newest kits ride a lot better than my old kit does, so take both for a ride. I would hate to see you loose a terrific bike then not be happy with what you end up with.

Welcome to the forum. Check all your options and do some test rides if you can. But I agree, you have a good bike to trike. Look at some of the pictures from those who responded. Oh yea, I have a Honda Goldwing Trike. Love it!
