Light Bars. My new light bars arrived yesterday and Ron just finished installing them on my TG. They sure are purdy! Next month my mud flaps and fender chrome will be here and hopefully I'll be a stylin at the rally!

Could you tell me the overall length top to bottom and how wide they are @ the bottom?? Also is the chrome metal or plastic?

There is no measurements or info to tell me this on the Kuryakyn website

Thanks

Tom

Could you tell me the part number of the led's? I can't seem to find it on their web site. How bright are they in the daylight??

The part number is 7268. My trike is red and they don't show up as much as I was hoping they would in the sunlight. Night riding will be a different story and/or a different color trike !

Really show up on the blue trike! I think it took Ron about 1 hr to install, plus you know it's done correctly!ThumbUp

I have to get a set of those. They look awesum. Would like to install myself, just not sure how tough. Any tips or pics of any of your installs?

kyblueultra, I purchased these LED marker lights from CruiserCustomizing on line. Item # BBP-16-107R Show Chrome Accessories, a pair for $52.99. When I had my GL1800 Goldwing, I also replaced the reflectors to LED markers.
Been looking for these quite sometime again and just located them from the above store.

Thanks Bill1bigdog. I actually looked at those last month and couldn't decide how much they would stick out and/or whether the chrome frame would like right. I can't tell from the picture how much they are raised from the surface. Could you help me with that and are they very bright?

I too just got the Kury rear light bars installed. I think they look very good. I am waiting for the rear mud flaps to come in. Thanks for your help

They flush mounted to the fender with double sided tape. Two small holes required, one for a small locating pin and one for the small wires. I siliconed the wires to the inside of the fender and wired it to the tail lights. There is a small opening at each tail light to fit the wires to. The lights are bright for just being a marker light, brighter than plain style bulbs. You will be pleased if you are looking to make the plain reflector light up with LED. They do not stick out far at all, similar to the reflector. I slowly pryed the reflector off carefully, then cleaned off the excess tape before mounting the lights.
Hope this answers your questions. Happy Holiday to all.:)ThumbUp

I called Kury factory to order a pair of these lights and mud flaps. They are out of stock on both and not expected until July. Oh well. Their website said order in a hurry as stock is low. Yep being out is a low stock :) :)

Thanks Bill1BigDog for the info. I am going to order the marker lights. Also. the Kury site had been saying "in short supple order now" for some time. They obviously are shipping on orders (backorders) first and later orders as newer shipments arrive. I also have their chrome fender well trim and the trunk latch chrome cover.

I hope you are correct. I have had my mud flaps on order for about a month now. I should get mine in June! I told them to send the fender well trim with the mud flaps. It saved a little on shipping. I'm hoping they will be here before the TTR 5. I think these will be the last add ons for the trike.

I got my lights from Kury and installed them today. Like the looks. Did not get them quite located the same, not that far off however. :) They look great all lite up.

Thanks for the pointer on these Bill. I have been thinking of adding some kind of amber LED lights to the lower front of each fender...and the amber version of these is jsut what I was looking for. But...now come to think of it...they may be block by my fat legs. Have to rethink this. But, I am going for the reds to replace the fender reflector. I wish there was a net way to run the wiring aling the front forks to replace the fork reflectors with LED lights.
