Just installed my new tinted F4+2 last night. This is the first time I've ever had an adjustable windshield as my precious ones were the F4+4 and the Tulsa Tall. Love the adjust-ability and the tint looks like is was made for my metallic Portland Grey trike.

The photo of it in the garage last night really doesn't reflect the true tinting.

The gray tint does look good.
Was it an easy install??
My windscreen can be a bear to adjust up and down.
Im going to have to look into it one day myself.

Looks good, IMO being able to adjust the windshield is a big help. This past summer coming back from Maggie Valley all it did was rain, couldn't see through the windshield so I put it all the way down and looked over it.

Thanks again for that link.
Ive had the bike for a year and utill today.
The screen has never moved up and down as it should.
Ive had to literally beat it down with the palms of my hands from the highest position.
Very very easy to adjust up and down for me now.

Hey Rich , if you don't mine me asking . Why did you go from the +4 to the +2 ?? I was thinking of getting the +4 but now I'm confused .. Can you help me out here ?

A little more info that may not be fully understood!

The +2 is adjustable whereas the +4 is not! At maximum extension, the +2 is two inches lower than the +4.

I'm 6'1" and if required, can look over the top of the +4!

Hiya Snake,

The reason I went with the +2 is basically because my wife can't ride with me any more due to medical restrictions, so the extra height really isn't a real necessity now. And to be honest, once F4 came out with the tinted model, I've been looking for an excuse to change the windshield just to have that tint, lol. The color of my trike makes the tinted windscreen look like it's made for it. At present, I have the +2 at it's highest elevation. That enables me to either look through the windscreen or over it by either crouching down a slight bit or sitting straight up. An almost perfect combination for me.

By the way, I'm 5'8" if that helps.

i still have the the factory windshield on mine . It's raised all the way up , which sounds like the f2 raised all the way up is about the same height ?? I was hoping the f2 would be a couple inches taller raised at its tallest height.

Yes. In my first post of this thread, that's the new tinted F4+2 with the vent.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. In my signature photo, that is the F4+4. It's a great windshield!!!! :10:

(The F4+4 also is available in a tinted model as well)

Hey rmrc51 , your shield is that a light tint or dark ? Looks light in the picture. I like the looks of it. Would that look good on a silver trike ?

It's actually a light tint. It's the only tint F4 offers. I'm sure it would look great on a silver trike! ThumbUp
