new download

I was at a harley dealership Saturday 1-24-2015 and a tech there told me that Harley had just come out about a week ago with a new download for triglides. Has anyone heard anything about this yet?

Far as I know, it is only for the Boom Box Infotainment System on the newer bikes

For one thing it changed the number of way points from 9 to 100.. AVC suppossed to be better, suppossed to be faster, fixed bugs.. I d/l and installed about a week ago. N o problems noticed but I haven' t gotten to ride very much.

Actually the tech had told me it was for performance issues. He said it would take care of any shuttering on take off and also other issues. He told me that any modifications that had been to trikes like installing new cams etc. And the downloads that were installed for those upgrades were for lighter bikes and not focused for trikes only. Supposedly this download is for trikes only

What? We are talking about the download for the Boom Box radio.

No sir I am not talking about the boom download. I had asked if anyone had heard anything about a new download for trikes and it got directed toward the boom download. It is a new download for trike performance.

I had not heard of this. Will check into it, but I suspect it will be EPA compliant. If so, it may be better than the previous tune, but still a compromise in performance to meet EPA requirements.
