Not much activity about these machines. Any comments about the 2017's, or latest model? Maybe not many folks own these three wheelers on this forum. I know about Spyders Lovers forum, but that's a lot of read to get to good information, so I don't waste a lot of time there.

I've got a 2017 CanAm F3 Limited. Have put about 4K miles on it so far, came from a conventional trike that I put 30K on. Didn't like my F3 at first, then when I learned to "drive" it correctly, I love it! It handles much better than my conventional trike did, but I loved it as well. I like each trike for different reasons, had both in the garage for a couple months, but couldn't afford that option! My conventional trike was my Eldorado, and my F3 is my Corvette. Bottom line, I like my F3.......:Coffee:

Spyder Lovers will give you a lot of info, I was on it since its start..But when i sold my Spyder and when asked by some of the members why, I didn't pull punches, And then i was asked to leave......You just have to understand its a Spyder only forum... Negative comments have to be tempered, Much like a Two wheel only Harley forum And the Victory forum  ... Just my opinionated, Opinion...

Thanks Big Juice and Rhino 2. Yeah Rhino, I know it is with the mods on those 'other' forums, seems like ya gotta walk on eggs, think they are all owned by the same people; different mods, but they get real feeling of power in being able to dump a thread, or kick someone in the you know where. I like TT, at least you can 'talk' a little more freely.

I don't know about 17's specifically. Can only talk about what I know about. And that is Spyders really weren't very good until 2011-12. We had a 12 and it was great. You couldn't give me a 2013. That was a transition trike and they really blew it there. But 2014-16 are good trikes again. We have a 16. We've had a lot of trouble but not from the trike but a CB we wanted. They have yet to get one to work in the trike. But 17's I know nothing about. We are actually waiting for 18's with a possible trade if they still can't get a CB to work correctly in this 16. If they can we'll keep it. There is nothing at all wrong with the trike. It's just these knew machines both trike and bike are doing a lot more with accessories and these CAN-bus electrical systems. So personally I say if you get one and everything you want works keep it. If not dump it as soon as you can. As far as I'm concerned they work or don't.
