My fork baffle install....

I had an old HD fork baffle lying around and I set about to figuring out a way to mount it to the TriGlide whill still clearing the steering stabilizer. It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought.

Using a piece of two inch flat steel, I cut a piece wide enough to fit between the bolts on the lower triple tree. Then using the baffle as a template, marked and drilled my holes. I also trimmed the upper edge of the steel to ensure adequate clearance between the triple triple and the neck of the frame.

Here are some pics of it installed. There are absolutely no clearance issues and it works great. I've taken it back off to have both pieces powder-coated gloss black. It should look pretty nice once done.

John,
That is the first baffle I tried. It had worked great on my 05 2 wheel Ultra for me. Made the drop down bracket also to clear the stabilizer.
On trike I found it did nothing like it did on my old Ultra, thus going with a different design for the different rake on trikes.
But as always, different ideas work for different people.
Enjoy the rides, weather is great this year.

I just installed one on my MotorTrike Conversion with rake kit . Tested on a 650 mile trip to Taos NM this weekend and it works great. Put one on my wifes Trike also and just ordered one for my Street Glide 2 wheeler.
