Mustang seat question/2010 CSC viper/GL1800

I have a 2010 GL1800 audio/comfort w/heated seat and grips on a stock Honda 2 up seat. I got a Mustang 2 up seat (79900) w/o heated seat hook ups for almost $ 0....Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the seat will fit without any problems.....except, obviously...losing the heated seat option. Will interrupting the circuit take away my heated grips also? Do both the seat and grips operate on same circuit/fuse ?

I am pretty sure the seat will fit, but wondering about unhooked leads under the seat....Thanks for any and all experienced advice...Steve

Yes the Mustang seat will fit and will not affect the function of your heated grips as they are operated by their own separate controller. Just leave the heated seat switch in the off position. Even if it were turned on by mistake, the seat heater plug that remains under the seat is a shielded multi-pin female plug and there is no chance of it contacting anything that would cause an electrical malfunction.
